These outdoor fitness sessions are designed to build strength, fitness and confidence in a supportive group environment. Sessions may include bodyweight exercises, light equipment, weights, conditioning work and optional running elements, delivered outdoors on the village green in Yarnfield. I'm going to trial 8AM but happy to switch to 9AM for future sessions if that works better for you.

Sessions are suitable for most fitness levels with options provided — you are always encouraged to work at your own pace.

Please arrive 5 mins before the session.

Health & Medical Responsibility (PAR-Q)

Before booking, please read the following carefully.

Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q)

You should answer YES if any of the following apply to you now or have applied to you in the past:

  • You have a heart condition or have been advised by a medical professional to only do physical activity recommended by them
  • You experience chest pain during physical activity or at rest
  • You experience dizziness, fainting, or loss of balance
  • You have a bone, joint, or muscular condition that could be made worse by exercise
  • You have high blood pressure or take medication that affects exercise participation
  • You are pregnant, post-natal, or recently returned to exercise after pregnancy
  • You have any other medical condition, injury, or health concern that could affect your ability to exercise safely

Important

If you answer YES to any of the above, you must obtain clearance from a qualified medical professional (such as a GP or physiotherapist) before booking and participating in this session.

Fitness Disclaimer & Assumption of Risk

Outdoor fitness and physical exercise carry inherent risks including but not limited to muscle soreness, strains, sprains, falls, overuse injuries, illness or more serious injury.

By booking and attending this session, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Participation is voluntary and undertaken entirely at your own risk
  • You are responsible for exercising within your own limits and capabilities
  • You will stop or modify activity if you experience pain, dizziness, discomfort, or anything that does not feel right
  • Outdoor sessions may involve uneven ground, shared public spaces, and variable weather conditions

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Happy Rundays Club shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from participation.

Nothing in this section limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability which cannot be excluded under UK law.

Booking, Cancellations & Refunds

  • Sessions must be paid for in advance
  • All bookings are non-refundable once confirmed
  • Places are non-transferable unless explicitly stated
  • If Happy Rundays Club needs to cancel a session (for example due to safety or weather), you will be offered an alternative session or credit

Agreement

By booking this outdoor fitness session, you confirm that:

  • You have read and understood the PAR-Q questions above
  • You are medically fit to participate or have obtained appropriate medical clearance
  • You accept the inherent risks of physical exercise
  • You agree to the above terms and conditions
